The Realty Division provides assistance to the Bureau of Indian Affairs for Tribal Citizens who are enrolled in Naqsraġmiut Tribal Council, Native Village of Nuiqsut, Native Village of Pt. Lay and Native Village of Kaktovik, who own or inherited native restricted land, from the Bureau of Land Management. ICAS provides this support with Resolutions from each Tribe. Our goal is to provide the best service for tribal citizens that include land conveyances, allotment adjudication, rights protection, land management and probate processes. Soon, these services will include the Native American Housing Assistance and Self Determination Act Housing services provided to the Arctic Slope Region. We strive to improve living standards for Iñupiaq families and individuals by planning, developing, implementing, controlling, and evaluating housing operations and programs, ensuring enhanced quality of life and effective housing solutions for the community.
