This Community Driven Project Development initiative focuses on enhancing transportation safety and infrastructure throughout our region. We prioritize collaboration and community involvement, working closely with each village transportation department to identify needs, coordinate objectives, and develop strategies that improve travel for all.
Our commitment to transportation safety is evident in our comprehensive approach. We’ve visited every community during CEDS development to gather firsthand insights and understand unique challenges. This collaborative process ensures that our projects address local priorities while contributing to regional transportation goals.
We’re also focused on developing next-generation transportation programs through advanced data processing. This includes creating a regional “MASTER DATASET” for all roads, trails, and bridges, making information readily accessible and compliant with BIA/FHWA tracking standards. By integrating roads, marine, and aviation transportation safety data, we can better analyze trends, identify risks, and inform future planning.
Our current projects demonstrate our commitment to both local and regional impact. These include initiatives focused on improving the AKP Rock Quarry and Materials Site, developing AKP Subdivision Roads, and investigating tribal mineral/resource claims along ASTAR routes. These projects aim to enhance infrastructure, support economic development, and improve the overall quality of life for our communities.
